Nakalay Palm Aparthotel Patong, Patong

The hotel had lovely staff and a serene atmosphere, which was perfect for a quiet getaway. They provided a shuttle to Patong and Kalama beach, but there wasn’t much to do nearby, especially for early risers. While the pool and gym were nice, they opened late at 8 a.m., and the beach access was limited due to being part of a neighboring hotel.

Absolute Nakalay Beach Resort has a very comfortable and clean atmosphere, with spacious rooms and modern amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the dining options, especially breakfast, could be improved. The location is a bit isolated, requiring reliance on shuttle services or taxis to access the beach and dining options.

My stay at the resort was truly relaxing, set away from the hustle of Patong. The room was spacious and came with a kitchen that allowed us to prepare our own meals, which was convenient. While there was no beach access directly, it didn’t bother us since we didn't mind being in a quieter area. The traffic noise could be noticeable during the day, but it was peaceful at night. On the downside, the dining options were limited as there was no restaurant on-site for dinner, which required planning. Overall, it was a comfortable getaway with ample amenities and friendly staff.

This hotel is marketed as a beach resort, but it fell short of expectations. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the facilities and dining options were lacking. I stayed at this resort and found the apartments really nice—modern, spacious, and very clean. However, the lack of beach access and the constant noise from the traffic made it less enjoyable. While the room itself was fantastic, I wouldn't recommend this place for a peaceful vacation with all the noise around.
